Description
Chad Twedt’s Solfeggissimo is a virtuoso arrangement of CPE Bach’s Solfeggietto (a “Little Solfege Piece”), turning most single notes of the original into full octave chords.
The inside cover includes a humorous introduction, part of which explains why the piece was written: “For centuries, mankind has had to find ways to survive without the existence of a Big Solfege Piece. This is where I stepped in, writing a complexified version…”
The introduction also states that the piece is dedicated to “all pianists who like to play loud.”
